Because we are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, your donation to Coastside Children's Programs (CCP) is tax-deductible and will contribute to a safer, smarter and healthier community. CCP has been serving children and families from multicultural and diverse socio-economic backgrounds for 35 years. CCP also provides quality preschool and after school experiences to low-income, disadvantaged children. CCP fundraises the remainder of the cost that public funds do not cover through events, donor campaigns, and grants.
CCP is also actively and continually evaluating the quality of its programs through the Desired Results for Children and Family program that is required of all centers receiving subsidies from the California Department of Education (CDE). Desired Results for Children and Families documents the progress made by children and families in achieving desired results and will provide information to help practitioners improve their child care and development services.
About 87% of our budget is used toward direct program expenses – meaning more for the children. You can also dictate where your donation is used: a specific program, scholarship/subsidy, educational materials, etc.
