Agnes F. Chan
Executive Director
Prior to assuming the Executive Directorship of CCP in January 2010, Agnes Chan had worked as the Director of Education and Outreach at Palo Alto Community Child Care where she was the key contact for family support services in that region. Additionally, Agnes oversaw the teacher resource room and other relationships regarding early childhood professional development. As the Quality Enhancement Manager at 4Cs of San Mateo County, she administered several programs that benefit the lives of young children including SaMCARES (San Mateo Comprehensive Approaches to Raising Educational Standards). Agnes has previously worked in the classroom, consulted on child care classroom quality, and is currently a board member at Wah Mei School, a child care agency in San Francisco. Agnes holds a B.A. with a double major in Psychology and Child Development from Tufts University (MA), a M.A. in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership from Stanford University, and the Program Director Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

David Aliamus
Site Supervisor
David has been with Coastside Children’s Programs since 1996. Since that time he has served as a Co-Supervisor, and in 2006 was appointed as the Supervisor of the Half Moon Bay Center. He holds his AA in early Childhood Education and his Site Supervisor Permit with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Davd is also the recipient of the 2009 Mary Elizabeth Griffin Children’s Award.
A resident of Half Moon Bay, David is actively involved in the community. He serves as a member of the Second Harvest Food Bank Advisory Committee, as a community member of the Hatch School Site Council, as a supervisor for Hatch School’s Homework Club, as a coach for a local Little League team, and on Sunday mornings as a caregiver at Mariner’s Community Church working with the smallest children.

Karen Raab
Director of Finance
Karen brings many years of non-profit accounting experience to CCP. She has worked as Finance Coordinator for Shasta Women’s Refuge in Redding, Business Manager for Modoc Charter School in Redding, Payroll Accountant for Children’s Farm Home in Oregon and Financial Secretary for The First United Methodist Church in Redding. Karen holds A.A. in Business Admin/Accounting and an A.S. in Business Admin/Management from Shasta College in Redding. In addition to Karen’s financial background she earned 12 core ECE units and has taught preschool. She has held an in Home Child Care License, and she was in a volunteer leadership role in Girl Scouts for 12 years. She is certified in CPR and First Aide.

Nicole Olsen
Site Supervisor
Nicole has been actively involved in the child-care field for the past 19 yrs, joining CCP in 2009. She has her A.S. in Early Childhood Education. Over the years she has had the opportunity and experience of working and challenging herself in different positions and teaching styles. Nicole has been a preschool director for the past 8 yrs and before that an assistant director/teacher for five yrs. Nicole has lived in Pacifica for 15yrs with her husband and two school-age children that keep her busy. Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and over the years Nicole has been fortunate enough to build meaningful relationships with children and families throughout the community.

Daphne Snyder
Contracts Coordinator
Daphne Snyder has worked at Coastside Children’s Programs since June of 1999. She holds an A.A. from Skyline College and has attended upper division courses at San Francisco State. She also has numerous Early Childhood Education units and has worked as a teacher and in the childcare field for many years. At CCP Daphne is responsible for our contracts with California Department of Education and she coordinates the Accounts Receivables. She has been known to sub in the classroom and help out on field trips. Daphne is a CCP parent of two. She really enjoys working at CCP because she loves being around children and working for an agency that provides quality childcare.

Josephine Pritchard
Site Supervisor
Josephine started her teaching career as a Kindergarten Teacher’s Aide in Kauai, Hawaii. She taught 1st grade in Las Vegas, Nevada for six years and then preschool in California. Josephine joined CCP in 1993 as a Teacher at our Half Moon Bay Preschool and eventually became Assistant Director and later Site Supervisor. She is presently the Site Supervisor for our CCP Montara Preschool and School-Age Program. Josephine has more than 30 years experience working in the childcare field. Josephine has two married daughters that attended Farallone View Elementary, Cunha Intermediate and Half Moon Bay High School. Their families enjoy the beach, competitive surfing, swimming and traveling to surf destinations.

Ginger Wills
Operations Manager
Ginger Wills started with CCP in June of 2003 as a part-time administrative assistant. Because of her success in that position she was promoted to Operations Manager and handles Human Resource and Accounts Payables. Before coming to CCP, Ginger had a variety of jobs including managing a horse boarding facility, working for a large animal veterinarian, giving horseback riding instruction, and was a swim instructor. Ginger has always enjoyed working with children all throughout her career. On occasion Ginger has taken her horse or pony to the centers, taught the children how to knit, read in the classroom, and filled in as an aide when teachers were out.

Maru Perez-Viana
Site Supervisor
In 1990, Maru left her native Venezuela and moved to California with her daughter. She began her preschool career working as an aide while taking Early Childhood Education classes at Merritt College. After 15 years living and working in the ECE field in Oakland, Maru moved to the Coast joining the CCP team in September 2005. Maru has worked in a variety of early childhood education settings, including Montessori schools, parent co-ops, family day care centers, Head Start and agency preschools. This diversity of experience makes Maru an innovative leader as CCP Half Moon Bay Preschool’s Site Supervisor. Maru brings personal creativity and compassion to her work, incorporating music, dance, art, cooking, as well as English and Spanish language skills to the children’s preschool curriculum. |

Jaime Dioli
Administrative Assistant
Jaime has worked at Coastside Children’s Programs since 2007. She is a mother of three CCP girls ranging in age from nine to four years of age. Jamie is CCP’s part-time Administrative Assistant. As the Administrative Assistant for CCP she has been involved in several fundraisers for the agency, helping the Site Supervisors with paperwork and ordering their supplies. A graduate from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Public Relations, Jaime has lived in the Bay Area for 19 years. After working in the corporate world for 13 years as an Executive Assistant for a Magazine and Media Publishing Company she took a break to become a Mother. Jaime is thankful to have a job that is near her children and to be working for a non-profit that provides quality child care for children and working families on the Coastside. |
