Spring has Sprung!

Happy Spring! With the weather warming up, we are looking forward to a lot more outdoor fun!

At HMB Preschool we are ready to explore our new garden! Stay tuned! More info and pics coming soon! In April the children will learn about insects, where they live, and why they are important. We will read fun stories, do bug themed crafts, and go on mini bug adventures! We will explore the beauty of spring by learning about flowers and what they need to grow. The children will continue planting and enjoy some colorful art projects inspired by nature.

At HMB School Age center the children enjoyed a festive egg hunt and ice cream party to celebrate the arrival of spring. During spring break, the children enjoyed making bracelets, creating playdough, and going on neighborhood walks. Throughout the month, the children will also explore a variety of spring themed art activities, using materials such as oil pastels and watercolors to inspire their creativity. 

At El Granada School Age center the children enjoyed an egg hunt, a beach day with lots of sun and sand play, a park day with lots of games, a picnic and exploring nature, a PJ day with books, stories and cuddles and a western day complete with boots, hats and  yeehaw spirit! 

At Montara Preschool the children are focusing on activities and projects involving planting, bugs, and Earth Day! 

At Montara School Age the children are involved in activities focusing on weather, bugs, plants, rainbows and animals that live in or around the water. 

In addition both Montara centers have a brand new large outdoor storage shed plus a new paint job on their buildings and decks, thanks to Rebuilding Together! More pics and info on this coming soon!
